Would give this book a 10/10. it its great book and readable for about 8+.I would put this book under friendship, animals (obviously) and adventure. If i was Kerr Thompson, i would keep it the same as it already is. there are a few words that 8-10 year olds might not understand but the sentence gives you a pretty good idea of what the word means. If you like animals and thrill, then this is the book for you.
