True Grit

This is a book about real life situations where people are forced to show incredible feats of true grit. From a Uruguayan football team who’s plane crashed in the Andes, starving the players were forced to eat their own teammates to stay alive, to Steven Callahan whose boat sank in the rough Mediterranean seas, this forced him to float in a flimsy life raft for 70 days. These are just some of the feats of true grit. This is an enthralling book that is very well written and informs the reader of some of the gruelling events that these people went through. If given the chance I would not change anything in this book.

Bear Grylls was born on the 7th of June 1974, he is a British adventurer, writer and television presenter. He was appointed the youngest ever chief scout at the age of 35. Grylls was born in Donaghadee, county down, northern Ireland. He grew up in Donaghadee until the age of four, when his family moved to Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. From an early age, he learned to climb and sail with his father, who was a member of the royal yacht squadron. As a teenager, he learned to skydive and earned a second dan black belt in Shotokan karate. He has written 30 books in total.

True grit is not part of a series but he has written other books that form a series. I would recommend this book to people aged from 12 to adults. This book is targeted at people who like adventure and non-fiction. I would put this book in the category of adventure and real-life situations. The book uses some difficult to understand language but can be mostly understood. I really enjoy this book and I think you would to so get reading today.
