This great story is about a girl named Dylan Walsh, and her biggest dream is to attend the girl’s boarding school for girls who love riding, Chestnut Hill. When Dylan arrives at the school and says goodbye to her mum and dad, she heads out to the campus riding grounds.
Dylan’s auntie, Ali Carmichael, is the riding instructor for the school. Before Dylan arrived, whenever she went to her auntie’s place she always rode one of the horses Ali owned, Morello. Dylan always treated Morello as her own horse, and she does on campus, which she gets in trouble for off Ali, as other girls can ride her too.
One night, all the seventh grade girls in her house are invited to a game of truth or dare. When Dylan is dared to ride one of the horses over a jump in the middle of the night, Dylan accepts the challenge. She sneaks out with a couple of the other girls. When Dylan has finished tacking up she starts to ride and completes the course, but, she gets caught by Ali.
In this spectacular book, find out what mischief Dylan and her friends get up to in this gripping novel.
I would recommend this book mainly to girls aged 8 to 12. This novel would be great for girls who love horses and riding.
