The Nickel Plated Beauty - Patricia Beatty

I have read this book so many times just because I love it so much! It's about 8 children in a hard-done-by family. Their stove is getting really rusty and old so they come up with the idea of buying a new one for their mother for Christmas.

They order the shiny nickel plated cookstove sitting in Mr Willard's General Store. The book is about how they go on a journey to find the money to pay for the stove that they have already ordered in time for Christmas.

I would rate this book 10/10.

It may be a little young for me and I am quite an avid reader but I would still recommend it for everyone in this class.
